Equipment Features & Capabilities:

• Battenfeld Gloucester Contracool extruder offers the power to push linear and the dies to handle it.
  
  
• Bubble stability is maintained with the Gloucester’s internal bubble cooling (IBC) control, which uses ultrasonic sensors to measure bubble diameter, a key factor in lay-flat control. This system provides ultra-smooth film.
  
  
• Transverse Oscillating Hauloff has proven to provide 100 percent randomization of gauge bands across the full width of the web. Coupled with the 1008 Battenfeld Gloucester winder, ISO Poly Films, can provide large, smooth rolls for critical applications.
  
  
• The Battenfeld Gloucester’s phantom axis, dual-turret winder is an extremely rugged shafted-center winder that can wind multiple rolls up to 30 inches in diameter. It is designed to wind sheeting or tubing to meet converter/laminator quality specifications.
  
  
• W&H VAREX extrusion line with OPTIFIL auto gauge control promotes precision and quality.
  
  
• Equipment and processes that produce excellent roll quality ranging from 2 inches to 130 inches lay-flat width.
  
  
• The 7-layer VAREX blown film line features the MAXICONE multi-layer die for 7-layer barrier film and the OPTIFIL P2 system for thermal gauge profile control.
  
• The 7-layer W&H line is equipped with W&H’s new FILMATIC Tx dual turret winder, the first Tx winder sold in North America.  The FILMATIC Tx has a maximum roll diameter of 4”, features adhesive-free web transfers on changeover and offers center, gap and reverse winding capabilities.
